The Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies will renew baseball hostilities tomorrow night at Citizens Bank Park in the City of Brotherly Love. The series is tied at three games each after a 5-1 win by Arizona on Monday.

The game was full of drama including some involving the DBacks' ace Merrill Kelly. Kelly had a fiery reaction to being pulled from Game 6 that has fans talking. The Diamondbacks drew inspiration from a pregame message from Manager Torey Luvollo.

Carroll's Honest Admission

On Monday, the Diamondbacks' outfielder Corbin Carroll shared his honest thoughts on where his mind is prior to his team's pivotal Game 7 tomorrow with a trip to the World Series on the line.

Carroll had one hit and scored one run in the team's Game 6 victory on Monday. Ketel Marte led the Diamondbacks with two hits and two RBI while Geraldo Perdomo had two hits.

Diamondbacks Finish Off Phillies in Game 6

Paul Sewald struck out two in relief, shutting the door on the Phillies' hopes of stealing another game.

While the series had not been clinched yet, Carroll sounded emotional and excited about his team's Game 6 win and the possibility of clinching a trip to the World Series in Game 7.

He added that he couldn't quite put into words how he was feeling at the time according to interview footage published by an Arizona Diamondbacks page on X.

Tomorrow's game starts at 8:07 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on TBS.
