TMZ recently caught up with Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers to ask him about his son, Austin Rivers, getting a new $300,000 Ferrari.

The younger Rivers signed a three-year $35 million contract to stay with the Clippers this summer, and he celebrated by buying a new car.

Doc Rivers didn't think much of it, and gave it his approval saying he's cool with.

When asked if he was worried about Austin handling a car with a 200 MPH (!!!) top speed limit, Rivers replied that he worries about all of his players.

Rivers ended the conversation saying Team USA is its own biggest competition, so he expect the gold to be won when the games in Rio end.
