The Miami Dolphins have been crunching numbers since signing Tyreek Hill to his giant contract. News broke Friday that Miami adjusted Byron Jones and Clayton Fejedelem's contracts to counter the effects of Hill's deal on the salary cap.

According to the Miami Herald, the team created $750 thousand in cap space by renegotiating Fejedelem's contract and freed up $10 million by converting $13 million on Jones' base salary into a signing bonus.

After Jones' renegotiation with the Dolphins, he came to a hilarious realization. As a cornerback, Jones will have to face Hill one-on-one in practice every day. He tweeted the hilarious realization, clowning himself Friday afternoon.

Although it's going to stink getting smoked by the Cheetah in practice, it's better than Jones having to face him on game day.

According to Spotrac, the cornerback is entering the third year of his five-year, $82.5 million contract in Miami. Jones' deal includes a $10.5 million signing bonus and $54,375,000 guaranteed. He will make an average annual salary of $16.5 million.

Meanwhile, Hill signed a four-year, $120 million contract with the Dolphins. The deal includes a $25.5 million signing bonus and $72.2 million guaranteed. The stud wide receiver will make an average annual salary of $30 million, nearly double that of Jones.

The Miami Herald noted that there were rumors that Jones could have been traded in the offseason, but nothing came to fruition. Now, the cornerback has the opportunity to work with Hill and continue to improve this Dolphins team.
