The Miami Dolphins immediately beefed up their wide receiver depth chart when they acquired superstar Tyreek Hill in a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs. Not only did the Dolphins pay a big price to acquire Hill's services. but the former Chiefs star was immediately paid like the league's best wide receiver, as he inked a four-year, $120 million deal with the franchise.
However, Hill reportedly wanted something more than just the money. The star wideout made a request of the Dolphins after the trade, as reported by Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post.
Asked about the Dolphins’ punt-return situation Monday at these meetings, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier related how eager Hill is to get back there. The Dolphins obtained Hill via trade last week.
The investment was substantive: five draft picks, not to mention a $230 million contract extension given Hill.
“Tyreek, the first thing he said was I want to make sure I’m back there, getting a couple of returns every game,” Grier said.
Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said that Tyreek Hill is looking to return punts again and is “eager to get back there.” Hill emphasized that he wants to be “getting a couple of returns every game.”

Hill is electric as a punt returner, having scored five career touchdowns on kick and punt returns in his six-year NFL career. However, the Dolphins must consider the injury risk that comes along with returning punts.
Do they really want to risk their $120 million investment, who will be so important to their offense, on punt returns? As skilled a returner as Hill is, it doesn't seem worth the risk.
It will be interesting to see how the Dolphins handle the situation with Hill.
