The Miami Dolphins could be altering their board just two days before the 2021 NFL draft.

Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reported Oregon offensive tackle Penei Sewell is now a possibility for Miami at No. 6 after the Dolphins traded Ereck Flowers to the Washington Football Team. Beasley added Miami plans to move Robert Hunt to right guard, providing an opening at one of the tackle spots.

This could make things very, very interesting.

The Dolphins seemed likely candidates to take one of the top pass-catching options available at No. 6. Miami was also a potential candidate to trade back and accrue more draft capital.

However, Beasley's latest report suggests the Dolphins could very well stay put, depending on how things play out.

Sewell is widely considered the best offensive lineman in the class. Some analysts have even projected he will end up as the best player in the class, period.

There has been speculation the Cincinnati Bengals could take Sewell with the No. 5 overall pick so as to provide more protection for second-year quarterback and 2020 No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow. But the Bengals might also be considering top wide receiver, and Burrow's former LSU teammate, Ja'Marr Chase.

The Dolphins could well take the guy Cincinnati passes on. Or, if general manager Chris Grier is feeling confident, perhaps Miami trades down a few spots if it believes Sewell will still be on the board. Say, trading with the Denver Broncos for the No. 9 pick.

In any case, Grier has already done quite a bit of moving and shaking this offseason. There could well be more in store as the Dolphins finalize their draft board.
