Amid rumors of the Miami Dolphins talking with the Houston Texans for a possible Deshaun Watson trade, the future of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on the team has been put into question once again.

However, head coach Brian Flores made it clear that Tagovailoa is their quarterback and he's happy with him. After all, the 23-year-old signal-caller has steadily improved through his two years into the NFL, and the Dolphins head coach is confident he can be a really great QB when developed and guided properly.

“I don’t really get into rumors. Tua is our QB. We’re happy with our QB,” Flores said, per Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network.

The Dolphins have long been linked with Deshaun Watson, even amid the controversies surrounding him. To recall, the Texans QB has been hit with sexual assault allegations by multiple women, which is why the Houston franchise has sit him out so far and has been looking to trade him for quite some time now.

However, his constant link with the Dolphins is certainly not good for Tua Tagovailoa. After all, who wants to hear his own team looking for a player that could replace him?

Brian Flores' vote of confidence, however, should at least give Tua a major boost as he tries to get the Dolphins out of the bottom of the AFC East.
