The Miami Dolphins desperately need a receiver to pair alongside quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, and veteran free agent T.Y. Hilton might be a possibility in Miami in 2021.

Hilton took to Twitter to have a Q&A and gave a rather surprising, and somewhat vague, response to a question about him possibly coming to Miami among his impending free agency.

Hilton played college football at Florida International, so a “homecoming” to Florida might just tempt him, as well as a shot to compete with a promising Dolphins team.

With Philip Rivers and Hilton's role diminishing in Indianapolis, he might end up playing somewhere else for the first time in his career. He has spent the past nine seasons as a Colt and put up five 1,000-yard seasons in Indy.

Jim Irsay said he would “love” for Hilton to return, but the Colts are suddenly in the market for a quarterback and might have to spend that money elsewhere, leaving the return of Hilton up in the air.

Although he has failed to record a 1,000-yard season since 2018, Hilton had a decent year, at least better than in 2019. He finished 2020 with 56 catches for 762 yards and five touchdowns and could provide a huge veteran presence for a rather young Dolphins squad who missed the playoffs by one game.

The eye emoji is one of the more commonly overused and complicated ones on social media, but perhaps Hilton misses Florida and wouldn't mind heading back down south to join an already talented organization.
