An important piece to the puzzle to the Golden State Warriors ascension to the top of the league over the last three years has been the presence and play of All-Star forward Draymond Green.

This was further reflected in a recent plus-minus chart that displayed Green holding the top-mark in league history ahead of some of the game's greatest players like Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Michael Jordan with a +1,073 mark in 2015-16.

The 27-year-old has developed into a high-impact player on both ends of the floor over the last few seasons that has made him an integral part of the Warriors' success, reaching three straight NBA Finals while winning a pair of NBA titles.

What has been a key factor to that has been his willingness to take on less offensive responsibility while being the vocal and defensive leader of the team. In fact, it has elevated him to being regarded as one of the top overall players in the league.

That said, it shouldn't be surprising to see that Green ranks among the best in the league history given how the Warriors have played over the last three years as the clear-cut top team in that span. This is simply a testament to the irreplaceable impact that he has on both ends of the floor.
