Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery popped up on the injury report on Wednesday but will still play on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

According to Pro Football Talk, Eagles coach Doug Pederson updated the media on the situation saying that Jeffery got bumped during practice on Wednesday and that's why he's on the injury report with a biceps injury.

Pederson said that Jeffery missed part of the practice to get treatment which is why the team had to list him as limited, even though he really wasn't actually limited.

Jeffery missed the first three games of last year while recovering from shoulder surgery, and the last thing the team wants is for him to miss any time this season. Last season finished the year with 65 passes caught for 843 yards and six scores.

The team is still dealing with some key injuries, at other key positions. According to Pro Football Talk:

Linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill (knee), tackle Jordan Mailata (back) and quarterback Nate Sudfeld (wrist) remained out for the second straight day. Defensive end Derek Barnett (shoulder) and guard Brandon Brooks (Achilles) were limited for a second day in the row while safety Rudy Ford (Achilles) and center Jason Kelce (not injury related) were bumped to full participation.

There is always going to be injuries but hopefully, some of these guys status is elevated when the team releases their injury report on Friday.

Jeffery was the top Eagles wide receiver last season with 65 catches for 843 yards and six touchdowns in just 13 games.
