The Philadelphia Eagles are looking more and more like the favorites to win the NFC East with each passing day. Howie Roseman and company have worked nonstop this offseason acquiring talent through trades, draft picks, and free agency signings.

Most recently, the team picked up free agent James Bradberry, a free agent last employed with the New York Giants. News of the huge cornerback acquisition broke Wednesday morning.

Unsurprisingly, Darius Slay took to Twitter to react to the trade. He tweeted a response to the Eagles' roster move announcement, welcoming his newest teammate to Philadelphia.

This is the beginning of a potentially dangerous defensive duo. According to NBC Sports Philadelphia writer Dave Zangaro, Slay and Bradberry are the only two defensemen in the NFL to have 15+ interceptions and 80+ pass breakups since 2016.

Zangaro tweeted the remarkable stat Wednesday morning.

The Eagles look to be one of the most improved roster heading into the 2022-2023 season. Before picking up Bradberry, the team acquired defensemen Nakobe Dean and Jordan Davis in the 2022 NFL Draft. They also improved their offense with a blockbuster mid-draft trade for AJ Brown. Not to mention, Roseman picked up center Cameron Jurgens to add more reinforcements to Philadelphia's offensive line.

The Birds seem to have everything they need to be successful next season. It's up to them to bring it to fruition come September.
