Former NFL player Emmanuel Acho has called out the Philadelphia Eagles medical staff over their handling of the Carson Wentz injury. Wentz was diagnosed with a fracture in his back but according to Jason Myrtetus of 97.5 the team's medical staff knew about the fracture but didn't make Wentz aware of it.

Acho who spent three years with the Eagles who is currently with ESPN took to Twitter to put the Eagles medical staff on blast.

“It’s time for me to keep it real on the Eagles medical staff,” Acho said on Twitter. “First things first, have to establish, I’m not bitter. If I never would have gotten released several years ago, I wouldn’t be where — one of the youngest national analysts on ESPN.”

“Why did I say they were suspect?” he continued. “I knew a guy when I was playing, he had a torn ACL. He got told he had a tight hip flexor. I broke my thumb, completely fractured. I was told that pop was probably just scar tissue. These are just a couple of stories. I’m not going to put too many names to it.”

This isn't the first time that Acho has taken to Twitter to rip the Eagles medical staff. After the Eagles drafted Sydney Jones, Acho took to Twitter saying he thought it was a good pick, but not sure it's going to work because he is going to need a good medical staff, something the Eagles don't have.

It will be interesting to see if anything more comes from this for the Eagles, but this isn't a good look to have to surround your star player.
