Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman knows the team needs a wide receiver or two, but he doesn't have a whole lot of interest in talking about the 2020 class of wideouts.

“We’ve been in this situation a couple times. I think it’s come back to bite me to talk about it,” the Eagles GM said, via John Clark of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com We don’t want to say just because there’s a position of depth and that’s where we’re going to choose from.”

It is a deep draft class which might give Roseman reason to believe he can wait until the fourth or fifth round to get an impact player out wide, but that isn't something they should probably be doing.

The Eagles pick 21st overall. Depending on who they might want to draft, it might be smart to trade up. There has been some talk the Eagles could trade up to try and select former Oklahoma Sooners standout CeeDee Lamb.

The Eagles have Alshon Jeffery still under contract, but the team would be smart to try and get rid of him and save some off of his contract. For the 2020 season, Jeffrey has a cap hit of $15,446,500 and that money could be spent in a much better place.

DeSean Jackson is also still under contract, but who knows if he can be trusted to stay healthy. He probably shouldn't be counted on. If they draft someone, and Jackson can end up contributing, that would be a great added bonus.
