Philadelphia Eagles Jordan Howard still hasn't been cleared for contact as he deals with a shoulder injury according to Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia.

That means he can't practice yet with the team, so it's hard to imagine he would be able to go on Sunday afternoon against the Seattle Seahawks. Howard has been practicing this week on a limited basis.

Without Howard last week it was Miles Sanders who led the team with 11 carries for 38 yards. The Eagles also signed Jay Ajayi last week but he didn't play as he tried to get up to speed. There has been no official announcement but it seems that he probably will go in this game, even if Howard is back.

Eagles coach Dough Pederson also said that wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are trending in the right direction. He also seemed to take a subtle shot at some of his injured players saying sometimes players have to play a little banged up.

“Sometimes you gotta play a little banged up,” Pederson said, via Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News.

Jeffery missed last week's game against the New England Patriots with an ankle injury and Agholor picked up a knee injury.

The Eagles are a game back from the Dallas Cowboys and in their game win against the Seahawks is a must-win if they want to keep pace. A loss doesn't knock them out of playoff contention, but it's going to make it a really hard tough hill climb.
