A video of an Elden Ring leaks the game's character customization screen.

During the network playtest last November 2021, players were only allowed to choose from five pre-designed characters in Elden Ring. The characters were pre-designed and pre-built for specific class builds. While this is just par for the course for FromSoftware network playtests, some fans were still disappointed because they didn't see how different the character creation would be in the game. However, thanks to a new video Elden Ring leak, we now have an early look at the game’s character creation screen.

Recently, YouTuber ER-SA gave everyone a first look at what Elden Ring’s character creation would be like. The video seems to be featuring an early build of the game as some sections don’t have any text or even proper labeling. However, the game's character customization itself is functional. While randomly guessing, ER-SA showcased an in-depth look at how much deeper Elden Ring‘s character customization is compared to previous FromSoftware games.

It’s evident that FromSoftware outdid themselves with Elden Ring. Compared to old Dark Souls games, the graphics have dramatically improved making this game look even more realistic. Textures are a lot smoother and the rendering of hair and skin look more life-like in Elden Ring. On top of that, there are a lot more customization options which gives players a plethora of looks to try out, just like what was shown in the Elden Ring video leak.  Elden Ring comes out on February 25, 2022, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
