Sofia Vergara has a stalker that she'd had to put a restraining order against for her and her son.
The actress and America's Got Talent judge claimed Gregory Brown was stalking her relentlessly, TMZ reports. The same guy was recently released from jail and on parole for stalking.
Sofia Vergara restraining order against stalker
Quite a few allegations are against Brown. Vergara claims he tried to gain access to her and her son numerous times. One incident involved him getting into their gated community.
The most recent incident involved a letter signed “Gangsta” that stated, “he'll be seeing and hearing her very soon, my love.”
The actress said his “aggressive and harassing conduct” left her in fear for her safety. On top of that, she's suffered emotional distress and anxiety.
According to the court papers obtained by The Blast, the obsessed fan is a stranger to Sofia.
“In July [the person] trespassed at the property, seeking access to [Sofia] and yelling disturbing message; and, most recently, in Nov 2023 mailed a disturbing letter.”
Another detail is apparently, he's quite delusional. He “delusionally believes he personally knows her and has a romantic and familial relationship with her and her son, which he does not.”
He was re-arrested for subsequent crimes, even though he was on parole. Eventually, he was released on July 1, 2023.
Sofia said that the man “has repeatedly sought to have personal contact with me and insert himself into my personal and private life. He has engaged in stalking and harassment directed at me, which is seriously alarming, annoying, and harassing me. As a result of his conduct directed at me, including, as referenced below, I am in fear of [him] for my personal safety and that of those around me.”
