ESPN has unveiled the schedule for their broadcast of SWAC Football in the Fall. Fans of the conference will be able to catch all the action on ESPN networks, with 34 games set to air between August and November, including the MEAC/SWAC Challenge, the SWAC Championship, and the Celebration Bowl.
The MEAC/SWAC Challenge, which kicks off the season on August 24th, will feature a matchup between the defending Celebration Bowl champions Florida A&M Rattlers in their return to Atlanta as they face Norfolk State University. The game will be the first under new Rattlers head coach James Colzie III as he hopes to continue the success that the team enjoyed under Willie Simmons the past few seasons. Meanwhile, Dawson Odoms and the Spartans look to have a breakthrough season in the MEAC and secure its first winning season since 2021.
Most of the games will air on ESPN+ with seven currently slated to air on linear television. The full schedule of games is below. Broadcast destinations are subject to change.
