In a series of tweets, Evil Geniuses confirm the latest signings to their Counter Strike: Global Offensive roster. The North American team first announced their acquisition of “the Smoke Criminal himself,” Jake “Stewie2k” Yip. This was shortly followed by a second announcement for Timothy “autimatic” Ta as he goes back to CS:GO after spending some time in T1's VALORANT team.

Stewie2k and autimatic will join the squad, which consists of Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte,  and Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov. Damien “maLeK” Marcel will act as coach for the team. It seems Evil Geniuses will also be acquiring rifler William “RUSH” Wierzba from Complexity. None of these should come as a surprise to anybody, seeing as Evil Geniuses CEO Nicole LaPointe Jameson already revealed this roster a week prior. In the tweets, she “teased” the roster, saying “News coming soon, no need to Rush”. Stewie2k will act as the in-game leader for Evil Geniuses.

Fans can expect to see this lineup on the ESL Pro League Season 15, starting March 09, 2022. EG will go against big names, such as Natus Vincere's Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev and Team Vitality's Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut.
