Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn is very cautious in regards to his star linebacker Deion Jones' status for this week's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

According to a report from Vaughn McClure of ESPN, Quinn will not making any promises about Jones.

Quinn would love to see Jones back out on the field for the first time since Week 1 against the Philadelphia Eagles. It was a tough pill to swallow for the Falcons since Jones had himself a game to remember as he racked up four solo tackles, two passes defended, and an interception.

Jones' injury was not the only big injury for the Falcons' defense, as Atlanta lost hard-hitting safety Keanu Neal for the season with a torn ACL.

He has sorely been missed considering how unbelievably talented the young linebacker is and what he brings to the Falcons' defense. Linebackers who play with Jones' speed and tackling ability are tough to come by and when Jones is on the field he makes his presence known.

The Falcons could definitely use Jones in this week's upcoming game against the run-heavy Ravens. Rookie Lamar Jackson appears to be in line for another start on Sunday and if that's the case, Jones may be the guy to help bottle Jackson up behind the line.

Jackson will surely look to take off and run any chance he gets considering he has nearly 200 rushing yards in the previous two games he has started this season.

If the Falcons hope to make any kind of playoff run this season, Jones needs to provide the defense with a much-needed boost.
