Atlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson honored Ahmaud Arbery with his pregame cleats. On the cleats it said hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that. It also had rest in peace Ahmaud Arbury and stop systemic racism.

Ahmaud Arbery was a young black man who was shot and killed by three white men. All three white men were charged and found guilty of murder.

Arbery was murdered in the state of Georgia, where the Falcons play. Many NFL players have done things like this in the past to try to stop the racial injustice throughout America. The Falcon's running back did exactly that on Sunday.

Atlanta is taking on the 2-8 Jacksonville Jaguars in Jacksonville. Cordarrelle Patterson was not expected to play throughout the week but was made active before the game. He has had a disappointing season on the football field as he only has 303 yards on 77 carries for two touchdowns.

The Falcons have an outside shot at the playoffs. For them to make it, they would need a miracle. They are three games behind the first-place Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South. A team with Tom Brady who has a three-game lead this late in the season usually doesn't blow it.

They will look to get back on track after two disappointing losses in one where they got shut out by the New England Patriots 25-0.
