The Atlanta Falcons offense didn't live up to expectations in the team's first year under offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian. There was a lot of hype going into last year after the team had made it all the way to the Super Bowl the year before and it seemed to take a toll on everyone. Wide receiver Julio Jones thinks that Sarkisian is in a better place this year which will help the offense as a unit.

Sarkisian also has noticed the change with everyone having a year under their belt in the new system and say's it's a night and day difference.

“We have a year under our belt together,” Sarkisian said, via Pro Football Talk. “Eighteen games of working together and understanding the things he does and what he’s comfortable with. I think all of that adding up has put us in a much better space at this time this year then maybe this time a year ago. It’s night and day of kind of where we are at.”

Jones and Matt Ryan couldn't seem to get on the same page in the Red Zone last year, and it led to some of the struggles that the team saw.

They have spent extra time on it during training camp trying to get on the same page, and that extra practice is going to be key as the season goes on. The expectations are still there for the Falcons, and they probably should be higher than last year with the extra year together.
