Probably the last thing Drake needs right now is more money. But that's exactly what he got—all because of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Prior to the much-anticipated event, the award-winner rapper made a $100,000 wager online that Drake London will be the first wide receiver to be selected. True enough, the University of Southern California standout was picked off the board by the Atlanta Falcons as the 8th overall pick. Nothing like Drake being linked to your NFL Draft moment.

Drake, who obviously liked London because they have the same name (what advanced analytics?), shared on his Instagram Story that he cashed out more than $60,000 because of his winning bet. Which he would probably spend on a bunch of hotdogs or something in just 10 minutes (via The Athletic).

Drake took the odds and made it! This could also be said for Drake, the not rapper, as he now fulfilled his dream of making it to the NFL.

Some predicted that London would fall on the draft board because of his ankle injury. But the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year obviously impressed the Falcons enough, becoming the team's highest drafted wide receiver since Julio Jones in 2011.

Many believe that the 20-year-old London wouldn't have not much trouble adjusting to the NFL because of his tough physique. He could be an immediate prime target of quarterback Marcus Mariota, as the Falcons hope to shore up their receiving corps.

Welcome to the NFL, where a rich guy like Drake, the rapper, can make even more money.
