The prize of the 2021 NFL Draft is Clemson Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence. For quite some time everyone has known that he was going to be the first overall pick whenever he decided to enter the draft.

According to Grace Raynor of The Athletic, Lawrence has given everyone a potential look into who he might want to draft him.

Obviously, this does not mean much. Lawrence really does not have much of a say on who is drafting him. Sure, he could refuse to play—but that is likely not happening. This is clearly more of just a fun fact.

That being said, Lawrence could actually find himself in Atlanta. The Falcons are currently one of the very few winless teams left in the league. At 0-3, Atlanta is tied with the New York Jets and Giants, Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, and Minnesota Vikings for the worst record in football.

Meanwhile, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Philadelphia Eagles are both 0-2-1.

Of all those teams, the Falcons might have one of the bigger question marks when it comes to the future of the quarterback position.

Matt Ryan has been fantastic, but he is also 35, and following two straight disappointing seasons from a team perspective, 2020 is not looking any better.

With that in mind, could we see the Falcons actually going after Lawrence? It did not seem like they would be in that situation at the beginning of the year. However, with an 0-3 record and two straight massive collapses—it is starting to look like that's possible.

Apparently, Trevor Lawrence would be pretty excited to go to Atlanta—or at least his younger self would be.
