The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer cited “inappropriate marital conduct” and “irreconcilable differences” as the reasons for the filing, according to Entertainment Tonight. The divorce documents obtained by the outlet state that under the “Grounds for Annulment,” the singer noted, “consent to Marriage was obtained by Fraud.”

An attorney for the singer, Jason Talley, tells the publication, “Mr. Cyrus and the court filings speak for themselves. Currently, we don’t have any further comments to add.”

A source alleges that Firerose did not want to marry the country superstar for the right reasons.

“He believes that she married for other reasons but love,” the insider told People. “He believes she married him so he can take care of her financially. They’ve had drama and trust issues about money.”

“He wants her out of his life,” the source added. “They have a prenup. He’s disappointed right now, but surely will turn it around quickly. He tends to be a very positive guy.”

He also stated he doesn’t believe Firerose is “the person he thought he married.”

This follows Billy Ray alleging that Firerose spent $96,986 on 37 unauthorized charges to his credit cards and business accounts.
“As a result of these fraudulent charges… I am concerned that Ms. Hodges is in possession of other information that she may use to make fraudulent, unauthorized charges to my business and personal credit cards and accounts,” Billy Ray wrote in an affidavit.
Last week, he sought a temporary restraining order to ensure his financial accounts would be safe from his estranged wife that she could not make any “unauthorized” charges with said accounts.
