A bug must've hit Google as they included NBA's most dominant big man Shaquille O'Neal as part of boy band *NSYNC. The band's former members were quick to discover it and were shocked by the news.

Justin Timberlake, now a successful solo artist, reacted via Twitter. He said that Google must've had a rough night:

Lance Bass, for his part, asked his followers if they had a hand in messing up Google's coding, and including Shaq in the band:

Finally, Joey Fantone, the band member who was apparently replaced by Shaq, was shocked but at the same time, wondered if he switched jobs with the big man in real life:

But it actually turned out that Shaq, while not a member of *NSYNC, had an important role in their career. As reported by TMZ, Bass shared that the first few songs of *NSYNC were recorded at Shaq's crib:

“I mean … a lot of people don't know Shaquille had a big hand in starting our career,” Lance said at the Montage Hotel in Bev Hills.

“We lived in Orlando and our first place that we recorded was his house … so all of our first demos, our first songs were all from Shaq's house!”

Shaq himself confirmed the Bass' claims on NBA on TNT, adding that he also had a hand in the careers of the Backstreet Boys:

“When they were young, they recorded their first album at my house,” O’Neal said. “*NSYNC and Backstreet Boys. True story.”
