Development Studio Luminous Productions has just announced the delay on the Forspoken release date to Q4 2022.

Originally scheduled for a May release, Forspoken got a new release date of October 11, 2022. That puts the game on the early Q4 release calendar, which currently isn't populated yet. The developers, however, did not specify any particular issue as to why the decision has been made to push back the release date. Instead, the announcement simply reads: “During the next few months we will focus all of our efforts in polishing the game…” It all appears as if Luminous Productions simply want to spend more time on QA, which is definitely a good thing.
