Aloy of Horizon Zero Dawn will be coming to Fortnite this Thursday, April 15. In collaboration with Sony, Epic Games will be adding yet another strong, independent, woman video game character in Fortnite. Just like most guest characters in Fortnite, Horizon Zero Dawn‘s Aloy will come to the Item Shop. According to Sony's press statement on Aloy's arrival, the Aloy outfit and related cosmetic items will be coming to the Item Shop starting April 15. It's good to know for many players that they don't really need to achieve anything special to unlock the Aloy skin in Fortnite. Instead, fans can just come online and purchase the Aloy skin outright.
The Horizon Zero Dawn Bundlewill include the base Aloy skin, the Blaze Canister Back Bling, Glinthawk Glider, and Aloy's Spear Pickaxe. You will also receive the Heart-rizon Emote, Focus effect, and the Shield-Weaver Wrap. While buying all these cosmetics will be cheaper when bought as a bundle, you will also have the choice to purchase each one individually. If you decide to buy the bundle, though, you will also get a loading screen as an added bonus.
Finally, a second alternate Aloy skin can be unlocked in Fortnite. To get the Ice Hunter Aloy Style, you have to own the Aloy Outfit and then play Fortnite on your PlayStation 5. If you don't have the game on your console yet, now's a great time to download it, as PS5 support for external storage devices arrives in the PS5 April Update.

Meanwhile, eager fans can take their Battle Royale skills to the test and join the Aloy Cup. This PlayStation-exclusive event will take place on April 14. The rewards for the Aloy Cup include the Horizon Zero Dawn Bundle. Therefore, you get the chance to play as Aloy at least a day early before anyone can buy the Aloy skin from the Fortnite Item Shop.
Keeping in the theme of Primal, The Aloy Cup will test the survival skills of players. The Duos Tournament will award more points to players who eliminate opponents with a bow, Aloy's signature weapon. You can play up to ten matches within the tournament's three-hour window. After the Aloy Cup, another Duos Tournament will sweep the floor in Fortnite. In the TEAM UP! ALOY & LARA Limited Time Event, you and a friend will play as the two iconic characters. The twist is that you will both be randomly assigned a character. Aloy will only have a bow, while Lara will have her signature dual pistols. Just like in a regular game in the Primal season, taking out wildlife will earn you the necessary materials to upgrade your weapons.
The TEAM UP! ALOY & LARA Limited Time Event will come a day after the Horizon Zero Dawn Bundle hits the store. That's this Friday, April 16.
