Any fan of the NFL that has followed former Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Antonio Brown from the time he got his first big contract up until Sunday's meltdown, is not surprised by anything that has happened. From crying his way into a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers to his helmet issues at 2019 training camp to his sexual assault allegations, it has been one clown show after the other when it comes to Brown.

He has been through as much as anyone in the league but most of it is self-inflicted. Brown (AB) got together with Tom Brady in 2020 with the Buccaneers, won a Super Bowl, and just when everyone thought he had gotten his act together, he strips off his clothes mid-game and is subsequently removed from the team. Now that his NFL career is likely over, we came up with four potential future career paths for Antonio.

Future career paths for Antonio Brown

4. Matador

Starting off with the least likely future occupation for AB, we went with a Matador. Matadors are known for their skill, grace, and their fearlessness. Not only is Brown no stranger to a one-on-one battle in the arena, as evidenced by his punching of a teammate earlier this year in training camp, but Brown certainly displays skill and grace every time he tip-toes down the sideline to make a crucial catch. He would definitely make for one of the most daring and athletic Matadors of all time, but the money wouldn't be good enough to pull AB into the sport.

3. Exotic Dancer

We all saw that Brown is not afraid to take his clothes off in front of people and that is the main qualification for this job. He is also known for unwanted sexual overtures, so that also plays right into this career path. He has shown some very good dancing skills in his many trips to the end-zone and he has definitely been doing enough cardio at NFL practices to finish his dancing routines. What we do not know, however, is if Antonio is “equipped” to do this type of job, if you know what we mean…

2. Celebrity Boxing

Here we start to get into the more realistic future livelihoods for AB. The celebrity boxing craze has picked up in recent years, due mainly to the Paul brothers, Jake and Logan. If Brown can secure a fight with either of them, he could be looking at a bigger payday than he had coming to him in Tampa Bay with the Buccaneers. If Brown cannot get a fight with one of them, perhaps he should arrange a fight with one of the fathers/brothers/cousins of his accusers. They will surely be lining up for a chance to fight him.

1. Have his own reality show

This one just seems far too likely to not happen. It is just that easy. Following the most enigmatic player of our generation as he transitions from a fully-capable NFL player to another profession would be “must-see T.V.”

Just imagine AB telling us the true stories of what happened with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the (then) Oakland Raiders, Tom Brady's final season as a Patriot, and all of the Buccaneers drama from the fake vaccine card to the in-game retirement. Count us in for as many seasons of that as they will make.
