TEAM DIGNITAS PARTIALLY PULLS OUT OF VALORANT

The organization didn't give an official reason for the team's disbandment. However, the team failed to capture any titles over the course of their stay. Hence, it's not hard to imagine why the management would choose to release the roster.

Meanwhile, dephh's tweet hinted at long-standing issues within the team. “An unfortunate set of circumstances even at the start of this roster,” writes dephh, led to the team disbanding. He also said in the same tweet that while they are no longer playing under the banner of Team Dignitas, they will continue playing VALORANT. His teammates, Psalm, Rara, Ryann, and Makka, will play with dephh in the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour Leg 2. The first matches for the qualifiers start tomorrow.

While releasing their all-male team, it's not yet over for them in VALORANT. Their all-female team will continue playing in the VCT Game Changers. “Dignitas continues to be an avid supporter of VALORANT,” the organization's announcement reads. “We will continue to field our women's VALORANT roster.” This roster consists of EMUHLEET, rain, milk, Theia, and showliana. The very same roster also competes in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive events.

The organization's all-female team qualified for the VCT Game Changers Series 1, where they finished 4th place. They took home  $5,000 out of the tournament's $50,000 prize pool.
