Honoring the winners of the 2021 World Championship, here are the EDward Gaming skins. Five champions are set to receive this skin, each the choice of the winning players. The champions are Zoe, Graves, Viego, Yuumi, and Aphelios.

EDG Worlds Skins Splash Art

As is customary for the skins awarded to winners of the World Championships, all five EDward Gaming skins share one splash art.

The overall theme of the EDG skins is black and white attire, the colors of EDward Gaming. Blue accents their clothing and effects, giving off a starry but ethereal vibe to each champion. Their armor also seems to be made from dragon scales, and more dragon imagery is vaguely visible in the background.

Zoe retains her heterochromia, having red and blue eyes. Her hair still flows long, starting from white and turning into a starry deep blue at the end. She is brandishing an orb, and atop her head is a crown.

Graves kept his scruffy look, but EDG Graves looks more dignified than his classic skin, befitting a World Champion. He holds his massive gun behind him, almost blending into the background. Graves' armor is where the blue dragon scales are most visible.

Viego stars in the middle of a splash art, holding his sword nonchalantly over his shoulder. The Blade of the Ruined King now shimmers a pretty blue, matching the orb he is holding on his other hand. Viego's crown also shares the same shade of blue. He wears a vest of sorts as armor, but remains topless (why?)

Yuumi was apparently modeled after the winning player's cat. Even she looks dignified that her master won the championships, and has gained her own little crown. She sits atop a silver book with pearly white pages.

Last but not least, Aphelios. He holds Severum in his hand, and weirdly enough it starts blue. His other guns are visible, such as Crescendum over his chest and Calibrum behind him. EDG Aphelios lacks a crown, and instead has his sister Alune caressing his hair.

EDG Zoe – 1350 RP

EDward Gaming Zoe was created in order to honor mid laner Lee “Scout” Ye-chan.

Scout's signature is presend both in the upgraded loading screen banner and EDG Zoe's recall animation.

EDG Zoe's basic attacks are faint purple orbs that she hurls at the enemy. After casting an ability, this instead turns into a white zap. Her Q is a blue projectile, with a faint grey mark on the map that denotes where it is headed. On impact, this creates a black and blue explosion and leaves a rather large crater momentarily on the map. The dragon imagery continues with Zoe's W, as the pickups spawned will have a dragon themed border. EDG Zoe's E will create a light blue circle underneath the affected enemy, turning into what looks like a portal with swirling clouds if allowed to channel to the end. The bubble itself has the silhouette of the Summoners' Cup inside it, and it is instead left floating in the middle of the clouds should the ability not hit an enemy. The portals created by Zoe's ultimate lack these clouds, and instead look like they lead into a black void.

EDG Graves – 1350 RP

EDward Gaming Graves is to honor top laner Li “Flandre” Xuan-Jun's performance in the 2021 World Championship.

Flandre's signature is visible on the upgraded loading screen banner as well as in EDG Graves' recall animation.

Speaking of recall animation, a little easter egg is visible during it. Graves can be seen mistakenly picking up Lucian's guns, which he ends up tossing away in favor of the Summoners' Cup and what looks like a lightstick (the one you get at concerts).

The pellets from his auto attacks have the same blue starry effect, and so does his Q and ultimate. At the end of the Q, the EDG logo is faintly visible for a split second. The smoke grenade from W doesn't look like a smoke grenade at all. It bears more resemblance to a cracked disco ball. The range of the W is denoted by the same silver draconic theme as is visible on Zoe's and other members of this skin line. The same silver theme is used to indicate active stacks gained from casting E.

EDG Viego

EDward Gaming Viego serves to honor jungler Zhao “Jiejie” Li-Jie for his performance during the 2021 World Championships.

Check out EDG Viego's loading screen banner with Jiejie's signature on it.

The recall easter eggs continue with EDG Viego. At the start of his recall animation, the marks “check, cross, cross, check, check” is visible. This is a reference to EDG's win-loss record during the 2021 World Championship Finals against DAMWON Gaming Kia.

Enemies affected by the Q passive will have a blue glow emanating from them, which erupts into tiny little blue lights when consumed. His Q continues the starry theme of the skin, leaving behind bluish sparks. Charging W generates up to three white balls around Viego, which then coalesces into a dragon head. The mist from his E is dark blue, and the dragon scale imagery is visible while it's spreading. Casting ultimate causes black smoke to rise from the area, as well as a faint flash of the EDG logo. Enemies that can be taken over will have the Summoners' Cup floating over them.

EDG Yuumi – 1350 RP

EDward Gaming Yuumi is designed after support Tian “Meiko” Ye's cat, as per his request.

The smug EDG Yuumi sports Meiko's signature in the loading screen banner.

The wholesomeness continues as a godly, ethereal hand guides EDG Yuumi into the Summoners' Cup during her recall animation. It's widely theorized that this symbolizes Meiko and his care for his real cat.

Yuumi's basic attacks are white squiggly projectiles. When her passive is off cooldown, this generates a draconic shield around her or the ally she is attached to. The Q is just a blue bolt that leaves behind white sparkles. If allowed to charge fully, the Q grows into a bigger blue spike. Healing with E results in a green outline of the EDG logo to appear momentarily around Yuumi or her teammate, when attached. More draconic imagery is visible in the ultimate, as well as other logos such as the one for Worlds. Rooted enemies are bound by a golden capsule.

EDG Aphelios – 1350 RP

EDward Gaming Aphelios honors bot laner Park “Viper” Do-hyeon for his performance in the 2021 World Championship.

Here is his loading screen banner with Viper's signature. Unfortunately, Alune did not make the cut.

EDG Aphelios' guns are the coolest out of all of his skins. The shape of each of the guns themselves aren't “boring,” and the skin effects are beautiful with the sparkles. This skin definitely has the least blue on it, but is loaded with the dragon effects. Calibrum (Green), Severum (Red), Gravitum (Purple) all affect the enemies with some form of dragon-themed mark. The Crescendum (White) looks particularly distinct in this skin compared to others.

Discussing every detail of this skin word by word would only cause confusion, so I highly suggest checking out the video. It's definitely worth checking out the full Skin Spotlight for this skin if you're interested.

Alune's silhouette along with the EDG logo is visible after casting Aphelios' ultimate. Both the silhouette and the logo is the same color as the gun that was active when it was casted.

The EDward Gaming skins is expected to be available on Patch 12.9. For more League of Legends news, check out our newsroom here.
