With Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6 Primal ending soon, fans will surely be busy leveling up their Battle Pass while they still can. The new Season 7 will be coming most likely on June 7 or 8. New Seasons will always bring new content for players to enjoy and collect. However, new content isn't all that Epic Games has in store for Fortnite fans. Epic Games just announced that the game will receive a visual update, so players who have the “Epic” game settings on with recommended system requirements will get to see the Battle Royale Island in prettier, more updated graphics.
According to Epic Games' Blog Post announcing the change, the updated visuals will result in improved Storm and cloud effects. This means that you'll see better-looking explosions, fires, and Slurp effects. There will also be improved postprocessing effects for bloom, lens flares, and improved shadow quality. As a matter of perspective, the new High Settings when Season 7 comes around will be equivalent to the current Epic Settings we have today on Fortnite.
Fortnite Minimum System Requirements
Of course, upgraded visuals also mean changes in Fortnite‘s system requirements. Make sure you can still run the game with the new minimum system requirements:
