Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn is right around the corner as the next major event and here are all the details you need to know. The Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn Event will be out for both the Global event and the Las Vegas event. Both will have different dates as Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn’s Global event takes place on Saturday, February 25, 2023, and Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 10AM to 6PM local time while the Las Vegas event will take place on February 18, 2023, and February 19, 2023. The celebration of Ruby and Sapphire Games of Hoenn region followed the celebration of the Kanto region back in 2021 and the Johto region in 2022. Pokemon Go players will enjoy the festive season of the Tour series in February 2023, especially the grand debut of Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre in the game.

The two day event will have a free version and a ticketed version, with different freebies available to enjoy in each one. Of course, purchasing the ticketed version would give Pokemon Go players more to enjoy the event. 

Choose Your Version Experience: Ruby & Sapphire

Players will be able to choose if they want Ruby experience or Sapphire experience for Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn. The version you choose will impact certain aspects of the event especially your wild encounters.

Sapphire Path – Primal Surge: Kyogre Wild Encounters

These Pokemon will appear in the wild for the players who will choose the Sapphire path and they will have an increased chance of becoming Shiny Pokemon:

  • Wailmer
  • Lunatone
  • Castform (Rainy Form)

Ruby Path – Primal Surge: Groudon Wild Encounter

These Pokemon will appear in the wild for the players who will choose the Ruby path and they will have an increased chance of becoming Shiny Pokemon:

  • Trapinch
  • Solrock
  • Castform

All Versions – Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn Wild Encounters

Players will have a chance encounter for two Pikachu variants wearing the iconic accessories of the Hoenn region main characters, Brendan and May. They will ha Pikachu wearing Brendan’s hat and Pikachu wearing May’s bow, which both can become shiny.

Also, during the Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn event, you’ll be able to encounter the powerful Primal Reversion forms of Groudon and Kyogre for the first time by taking part in Primal Raids. More of the information about the Primal Raids will be revealed when the event is near.

Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn Special Research and Masterwork Research

All Pokemon Go players around the world will be able to take part in aSpecial Research Chasing Legends story featuring Rhi from the Go Ultra Recon Squad. The special research story will consist of you helping Rhi discover more about the history of the Hoenn region, specifically about the Red and Blue Orbs much like in the video game, to connect with the Primal Pokemons.

Aside from the Special Research for the Primal Pokemons, we have a Wish Granted Masterwork Research available for purchase to encounter a Shiny Jirachi. The ticket will be available in the in-game shop near the event.

Live Event in Las Vegas: Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn

The Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn event will take place in Sunsent Park in Las Vegas on February 18, 2023, and February 19, 2023. During this live event, players will enjoy an exclusive Special Research story, higher shiny rate for Pokemon in Hoenn region, a lot of in-game freebies, and real-life encounters with other trainers. Tickets for the Pokemon Go Tour Hoenn event in Las Vegas are worth $25 and already available for purchase.
