“I can’t see anything. Having glasses that help me see and are comfortable are the two most important things I need in a pair. Playing at the highest level, I need to be able to see everything and react to everything perfectly with no discomfort. You don’t want to have to worry about things inside of the game because of things outside of the game. These Oakleys are pretty much an attachment of me now.”

Oakley already partnered up with traditional sports athletes in the past. These include NFL players Patrick Mahomes, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Lamar Jackson. Scump joining a premium sports sponsor normally for traditional sports shows his personal growth as an esports star and the growing importance of the esports industry as a whole. There have been stranger brands encroaching on the world of esports in the past but their involvement only indicates the industry's rapid growth.

Oakley allegedly drew closer to the Call of Duty star because of his numerous philanthropic endeavors. Scump regularly engages in charity events using his Call of Duty streams. Hopefully, Scump continues to do great work while having the backing of such a strong sponsor.
