You'll find one abandoned safe with a mysterious note attached to it. Find out how to open this in our Stray Guides.

Stray Guides – Chapter 4 The Slums: How to Unlock the Safe with the Mysterious Password Digicode

Exploring around The Slums, you'll eventually find a safe with a mysterious password digicode, the only one of its kind in the entirety of Stray. If you haven't yet, you can find it near Morusque, abandoned on a pile of trash, near the entrance of The Sewers. You can open this safe in either Chapter 4 The Slums, or Chapter 6 The Slums Part 2, but it's best if you can open the safe as early as Chapter 4. Don't worry, because opening it shouldn't take too much time. If you want, you can just skip to the last step of this guide and find the digicode itself, which you will input in the four-digit nine-key password lock of the safe.

Here's how you can open the safe with the mysterious password digicode:

  1. Find the safe near Morusque, and get the Mysterious Password Digicode
  2. Bring the Mysterious Password Digicode to Elliot, in Elliot's Electronics (scratch at the door to have a robot open it)
  3. Elliot will translate the code and decode the word DUFER BAR
  4. The DUFER BAR is the name of the bar, so that's where you go
  5. On the bar table, find the framed photo of the beach, and scratch at it, this will make the portrait fall from the wall
  6. Behind the framed photo, you'll find a code written on the wall
  7. Go back to the safe and enter the code 1283 to open the safe

Opening the safe will give you access to Music Sheet 8/8, which you could then give to Morusque for his side quest.
