Toronto Ultra will be playing with Insight starting with the Call of Duty (COD) League Stage 2. Insight will replace Methodz, who will move to Toronto Ultra's bench.

METHODZ BENCHED, INSIGHT MOVES TO STARTING POSITION

Anthony “Methodz” Zinni shining moment in competitive COD came way back in 2018. Playing then with Rise Nation, Methodz and his team won the CWL Atlanta Open, winning $80,000. However, his success didn't follow him as he moved to Toronto Ultra. And now, the team has decided to let him step back and give a teammate the opportunity to make a splash.

The younger Jamie “Insight” Craven joined Toronto Ultra just October last year. Prior to joining the team, Insight played with Team Singularity, with moderate success.

Toronto Ultra's most recent competition led to a disappointing 7th-8th finish in the COD League Stage 1 Major. They lost without claiming a single map against the Los Angeles Thieves in the lower bracket. The team went home with a $10,000 cash prize along with just 20 CDL Points.

The team now stands 9th out of twelve in the league, with only 30 CDL points. The Atlanta FaZe stands on top, with 125 points. To qualify for the playoffs and have a shot at the $2.5 million prize pool, the team has to place in the Top 8. Perhaps the Toronto Ultra management thinks that moving Insight to the main roster will give them the push they need to qualify.

Meanwhile, Methodz himself admitted that he was caught unawares by the roster shuffle. “Not really sure what to say or do, this is my best game since WW2 and obviously wasn’t expecting this,” tweets Methodz. Meanwhile, he has shown intentions of playing in the Challengers with Decemate, Drazah, and TMTwerk. Hopefully Methodz and this new team do well in the Challengers, so that Methodz can show everyone his worth.
