Yomawari 3 is set to release on April 21, 2022. Although marketed in both Japanese as well as Western markets, the game currently only has a Japanese release date.

Yomawari 3 is an isometric survival horror game developed and published by Nippon Ichi Software. If the game's art direction seems familiar, that's because Nippon Ichi Software also created the games Disgaea and Phantom Brave, so there are some similarities. Although being the third game in the series, it's not necessarily connected to the first two games, making it an ideal jumping board into the series.
The game focuses on an unnamed girl who had awoken in an unfamiliar dark forest. With no memory of how she got there, she'll be wandering around the dark forest trying to find her way back home. In the dark forest, she crosses paths with a strange figure with no form. It claims that she has been cursed and she would need to remember a forgotten memory in order to break free from the curse. With no other choice, you will have to explore the haunted forest and its adjacent town at night to find these missing memories and break the curse.
The game features no combat. Instead, the player has access to a flashlight and can use different items and environmental elements to hide away from spirits. With that being said, the game has a very simple premise and game mechanics, offering a light experience for players who want a short thrilling game to play in between sessions of other, much larger games.
