Her appearance is not for show. Yae Miko, sometimes referred to as Guuji Yae, is the chief priest of the Grand Narukami Shrine. Aside from this, she also likes reading stories, and as a result opened the Yae Publishing House. She shares a close bond with Ei, the Raiden Shogun. She is also shown to be a friend to Morax and Baal. Yae Miko is a kitsune, a race bearing as much as nine tails, gaining more as they age. Of course, she can turn into a fox whenever she wants.

Yae Miko has an Electro Vision, and equips Catalysts. Her attack animations, however, make use of the Purification Rod that she wields. Her main role in a team is to serve as a burst damage dealer through her Elemental Burst, or as a main DPS source with the use of her Normal Attacks and Elemental Skills. She is also able to function as some sort of an off-field damage dealer and Electro applier with her Elemental skill. Here's the full description of her abilities.

Elemental Skill – Yakan Invocation: Sesshou Sakura

Moves swiftly, leaving a Sesshou Sakura behind.

Sesshou Sakura – Has the following properties: Will periodically strike one nearby opponent with lightning, dealing Electro DMG. When there are other Sesshou Sakura nearby, their level will increase, thus boosting the DMG dealt by said attacks. A maximum of 3 Sesshou Sakura can exist simultaneously. The initial highest level each Sakura can reach is 3.

Elemental Burst – Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin

When she uses this skill, Yae Miko unseals nearby Sesshou Sakura, destroying their outer forms and transforming them into Sky Kitsune Thunderbolts, dealing AoE Electro damage. Each Sesshou Sakura destroyed this way creates one descending thunderbolt.

Passive Talents

Meditations of Ayako: When she crafts Character Talent Materials she has a set chance to create an extra Talent Material from the same region of a random type. The rarity of this material will be the same materials consumed during crafting.

Enlightened Blessing: Yae Miko's Elemental Mastery will increase the DMG dealt by the Sesshou Sakura.

The Shrine's Sacred Shade: When Yae Miko uses her Elemental Burst, each Sesshou Sakura destroyed resets the cooldown for one charge of her Elemental Skill.

Constellations

Yakan Offering: Each time Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin activates a Tenko Thunderbolt, Yae Miko will restore 8 Elemental Energy for herself.

We are sure to roll for Yae Miko once Genshin Impact 2.5 rolls around. From our first impressions, Yae Miko is a character you build around, and would synergize well with characters like Raiden Shogun and Xingqiu if used as a main damage source.
