If you need another reason why you should play Ghostwire Tokyo, then you should know about this hidden feature in the game.

Okay, not really a hidden feature – we're just trying to be funny about this and sensationalize. But in Ghostwire Tokyo, you can pet dogs! And it's not really a hidden feature. In fact, Sony and Bethesda have been promoting this little tidbit in some of their trailers. So, that answers the question, “Can you pet the dog in Ghostwire Tokyo?”

Luckily, there is more than just one dog that you can pet in Ghostwire Tokyo, and they're all good boys. The game also features Shiba Inu and Akita Inu dogs, the iconic Japanese dog breeds, one of which is the breed of the popular loyal dog Hachiko. Whichever dog you meet, be sure to treat it nicely. They're very good dogs, and they help Completionist players in finding all collectibles in the game.

Ghostwire Tokyo is out now on PC and is on timed exclusivity for the PS5. The game will eventually make its way to Xbox, and we're pretty sure it'll drop into Xbox Game Pass as well. For now, players can enjoy the game's immersive atmosphere – truly putting you right in the middle of Shibuya. The game follows Akito, possessed by KK, who is out to stop an invasion of “Visitors” – supernatural beings pulled right out of Japanese folklore. While not really a horror game per se, the game's supernatural themes give top-notch chills in special moments in the game. Give it a shot, and pet all the dogs you find along the way.
