At Bucks Media Day, recent veteran signing Jason Terry compared his new teammate, guard/forward hybrid Giannis Antetokounmpo, to one of the NBA greats — Scottie Pippen.

Antetokounmpo took the comparison in full stride, via Charles F. Gardner of the Journal Sentinel:

“Jason Terry has said a lot of things lately,” he said. “I don't know if he's giving me compliments or he's just trying to put pressure on me. I can see myself playing like (Pippen). I've watched film on him and studied his game, and I've talked with him in the past.

“If I can be on the Scottie Pippen level one day, it would be one of my goals.”

The Greek Freak has been impressing people around the league since his breakout 2014-15 season. His offensive arsenal is one to envy and it isn't a rare sight to see the swingman on SportsCenter Top 10 Plays.

Besides the flash and flair, he's become a more complete player, holding his own on the defensive end — making the comparison to Pippen, one not so farfetched.

During a brilliant third season, the 21-year-old Antetokounmpo posted 16.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 steals in a versatile stat line that is making the Bucks front office salivate with his sheer potential.

If he can rise to Pippen's level and help bring a title to Milwaukee, they'll be salivating even more.
