In wake of how things unfolded with the Utah Jazz involving Gordon Hayward leaving to the Boston Celtics, it has shifted the attention toward All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo possibly going the same route with the Milwaukee Bucks once his current deal expires.

With all of thoseĀ speculations beginning to start up around Antetokounmpo's future in Milwaukee, the 22-year-old took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to voice his commitment to the franchise that drafted him with the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Anteteokounmpo is set to enter the first year of the four-year, $100 million extension that he signed lastĀ September. The deal will expire after the 2020-21 season, which doesn't include any player or team options for the final year where he will make $27.5 million.

He is coming off a breakout 2016-17 campaign that saw him earn the NBA Most Improved award afterĀ setting career highs with 22.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.9 blocks. He also became only the fifth player in league history to lead his team in each of those five categories while being the first to place in the top 20 in each of those respective categories in a single season. This helped him earn his first All-Star selection and All-NBA Second Team nod.

Antetokounmpo has continued to show tremendous improvement in his game that could one day in the near future lead to a regular-season MVP award and possibly much more. Given the tremendous talent that he has displayed on the court, the Bucks will likely do whatever it takes to keep him with the franchise long-term.

At least for the time being, Antetokounmpo remains fully committed to the franchise.
