Some New York Giants fans and the media hasn't been nice to Daniel Jones since he was taken with the 6th overall pick in last weeks draft but that doesn't mean the former Duke Blue Devils quarterback isn't excited to get to work in the Big Apple. Jones knows there is a good chance he will be sitting Eli Manning for at least a bit and he is excited to learn from the Super Bowl winner.

“I think it’s a tremendous opportunity for a young guy to go into a place where there’s a future Hall of Famer who’s done it for a really long time at a really high level and definitely knows what it takes,” Jones said on SiriusXM NFL Radio, via the team’s website. “So that to me is a big advantage in where I am right now. So I’m looking forward to it, just being teammates with him, being able to learn from him in the building every day. I think that’s a special opportunity.”

The big question for the Giants is how long will they let Jones sit behind Manning. There have been talks that it could be a few years but if Manning struggles this upcoming season like he has the last couple, there is going to be grumblings about when Jones is going to get his shot, especially with the New York media.
