San Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson has just dropped the hilarious details that led to Tommy Pham of the Cincinnati Reds going full Will Smith on him over a fantasy baseball spat. This is not a sentence I imagined I would ever compose but yet here we are.

To add further hilarity to this issue, Pederson has just revealed exactly what triggered Pham, who himself has been slapped by the league with a suspension for his actions. Apparently, their feud goes back to a few months ago. Also, it all started with a hilarious meme that clearly rubbed Pham the wrong way (h/t Evan Webeck of the Mercury News).

The Giants stud then went on to read Pham's exact response upon seeing the meme:

Apparently, this went down in September. Pederson also said that Pham dropped out of the league a few weeks after the meme incident. The Giants player also revealed that “there was a lot of money involved” in the fantasy league, which is probably one of the reasons behind Pham taking things way too seriously.

Fantasy baseball is an undeniably fun hobby for most folks. However, there's always that one dude who gets way too invested and ends up ruining all the fun. In this case, there's no denying that it was Tommy Pham. Good luck finding a fantasy league for next season, buddy.
