With the New York Giants looking for their quarterback of the future they are going to explore every option to bring in the next guy including maybe going after Josh Rosen in a trade. With the NFL owners meeting happening this week, there are a lot of rumors surrounding the NFL draft including if Josh Rosen will even be available to trade.

According to Ralph Vacchiano of SNY, the Giants aren't sure even if Rosen is available that is the way they want to go, but it's an option.

Multiple Giants sources told SNY this week that all they've heard so far are “rumors” that the Cardinals plan to take Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray No. 1 overall and put Rosen on the block. They have certainly discussed the possibility internally, one source said, though those talks were extremely preliminary. They don't even seem sure at the moment whether they'd prefer Rosen – the 10th overall pick a year ago — to the quarterbacks in this year's draft.

If Rosen is available via trade and the Giants think that he can be the quarterback of the future, it would make a lot of sense to try and get a trade done. Getting Rosen is probably going to come at a big cost, but it doesn't seem like it will require a first-round draft pick.

If the Giants pulled the trigger on a trade, they could still use their first-round draft pick on best available, something that Pat Shurmur has talked about wanting to do.

No matter what the Giants need to do, there is no question they need to find themselves another quarterback this offseason.
