Although New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has been sidelined for the majority of the 2017 NFL season with an ankle injury, he continues to make headlines. Even before he was ruled out, Beckham Jr. has drawn his fair share of publicity over the years.

Needless to say, the reactions to his countless polarizing antics have been mixed. Although he is praised as one of the elite wide receivers in the NFL, he often receives scathing criticism for his emotional displays during games.

Beckham Jr. seemingly tried to address the issue on Instagram with a video comparing himself to New England Patriots superstar quarterback, Tom Brady:

It is no secret that the five-time Super Bowl champ is also quite an emotional player. Despite Brady's laid-back demeanor and kind persona off the field, he is arguably the fiercest competitor in the league. That edge always seems to come out on the biggest stage, just like it has for Beckham.

The Giants star wideout is not so much trying to drag Brady into the conversation; rather, he's shining a light on the hypocritical nature of the opinion that Odell is a prima donna, while Brady is considered a fierce competitor when he demonstrates emotion on the field.
