The ceremonial first pitch in baseball games can be hit or miss sometimes, but “Shang-Chi” star Simu Liu tossed a memorable one for the San Francisco Giants that won't be forgotten anytime soon.

Just look at this CLEAN back flip after throwing a perfect strike from Liu. (video courtesy of the official MLB Twitter)

Giants, sign this man already!

No, really, they might some additional help on the mound. The Giants are missing the services of Johnny Cueto, who was expected to face the Los Angeles Dodgers today but suffered a right elbow strain. Now, they're forced to lean on relief pitcher Dominic Leone and their other relief pitchers in what is expected to be a “bullpen game” for the Giants.

This comes at an unfortunate time for the Giants, as they are battling for first place in the National League – West against the Dodgers. They will have to hope that Brandon Crawford and co. can hold the fort on ground defense to cover for their relief pitchers. They've already secured a 3-2 win over the Dodgers last Friday (ironically, with the Dodgers also playing a “bullpen game”), so they can definitely pull this off.

For now, though, Crawford, Leone, and the Dodgers can hype themselves up over Simu Liu's back flip shenanigans and Golden State warriors Star Klay Thompson supporting them from the sidelines (thankfully, this time not from a boat outside the stadium). Hopefully, Shang-Chi will lend the bullpen of the Dodgers some of his powers to help them overcome this grueling game.
