New York Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is trying to continue his young career by winning a second consecutive start for the NFC East franchise. A fancy-feet sack escape and run could be another highlight on the “Danny Dimes” legend.

The 22-year-old Duke product tallied four touchdowns in his first career start last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including two rushing touchdowns, the second of which brought the Giants their first win of the 2019 season in a one-point victory in Week 3.

Substituting for longtime Giants signal-caller Eli Manning, Jones is looking to be New York's next franchise quarterback after the team selected him with the sixth overall pick in last April's draft. Jones threw his first NFL interception in the first half of his Week 4 matchup with the Washington Redskins, who debuted their own first-rounder rookie QB in Ohio State alum Dwayne Haskins.

This time, though, Jones was on the better part of the highlight reel, evading pass-rushers and spinning before finding open space in the middle of the field for the first down and 15 yards on the rush.
