New York Giants Saquon Barkley opened his team's opening drive in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills with a thunderous 27-yard rush and score. The second-year running back was nearly untouched as he found the end zone for the first-quarter touchdown.

The Giants are hosting the AFC East franchise Bills, who narrowly defeated the other MetLife Stadium occupant, New York Jets, last week, 17-16. Led by quarterback Josh Allen, Buffalo came back to score 17 unanswered points in a daring fourth-quarter finish.
Since then things have gone bad to worse for the MetLife tenant Jets, who lost quarterback Sam Darnoldâselected one pick after Barkley in the 2018 NFL Draftâdue to mono, and have two key defensive players in Quinnen Williams and CJ Mosley out against the Cleveland Browns for Monday Night Football.
The G-Men, meanwhile, could put to rest the Bills' hope for a solid 2-0 start with a steady diet of Barkley rushes. The Giants were defeated in their Week 1 matchup with the NFC East division rivals Dallas Cowboys, who saw All-Pro running back Ezekiel Elliott return from a holdout, which cost the entire preseason and training camp.
Elliott and quarterback Dak Prescott, also negotiating a long-term contract with the Cowboys, helped guide Dallas past New York, 35-17, last Sunday.
A quick score by Barkley and the Giants, though, could be the statement worthy of limiting scrutiny to quarterback Eli Manning.
But don't count out the Bills, as they proved their early-season mettle last week in the same building.
