The win at UFC 267 was a dominant one. Glover Teixeira took control of the fight early on and dominated.

The first round was significant as it answered questions about his ability to get Jan Blachowicz to the ground. The then challenger picked up the Polish champion and put him on the mat with what many people called ‘old man strength.'

The move cemented Glover Teixeira's abilities on the ground and the first round was filled with dominant grappling until the bell signaled the end of the round.

The second round saw both men choose to keep the fight standing. Both landed good shots but it was Glover Teixeira that hurt his opponent with a big left hook.

The fight went to the ground and Glover Teixeira picked up the rear-naked-choke finish to become the light heavyweight champion.
