March Madness is right around the corner and the nation's top collegiate squads are raring to make a run for the national title once again. Amid a number of capable teams, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are being tagged as the clear favorites to win the NCAA tournament as they currently own the shortest odds of +200, per Fanduel Sportsbook (h/t The Action Network).

Gonzaga head coach Mark Few and his boys are currently on a roll as they continue to impress with an immaculate 26-0 record. The squad is currently bannered by point guard Jalen Suggs who is seen by many as a potential lottery pick in the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft.

The Baylor Bears are trailing behind in the second spot with an odds of +600 as they currently hold a 22-2 record thus far. They suffered an 83-74 upset at the hands of the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Big 12 tournament semifinals which will certainly serve as motivation for Jared Butler and company upon entering March Madness. Gonzaga and Baylor were supposed to meet each other early this season, but that game was postponed due to COVID-19-related issues.

Currently tied with the Bears with odds of +600 are the resurgent Michigan Wolverines led by head coach Juwan Howard. Despite missing the services of top commit Isaiah Todd, the team still lived up to their billing as a powerhouse in the 2020 season with a 20-4 overall record.

Similar to the Bears, the Wolverines also came up short in the Big Ten tournament as they absorbed a nail-biting 68-67 loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Nonetheless, Howard and his men will aim to do better as they seek a deep run in the tournament.

The newly-crowned champions of the Big Ten tournament in the Illinois Fighting Illini round out the top four of the list with +700 odds. After a thrilling 91-88 overtime victory over the Buckeyes, tournament MVP Ayo Dosunmu will banner his team as they aim to make noise when they finally compete in the Big Dance.

This year's March Madness may look a bit different due to the COVID-19 pandemic but collegiate basketball fans can still expect an action-packed tournament from all the competing teams in 2021.

This Gonzaga team is arguably the best ever in the Mark Few era, and that's saying a lot, considering that the Bulldogs have traditionally been a high seed in the NCAA Tournament over the last several years.
