Nothing can stop the Memphis Grizzlies right now. They are riding an 11-game winning streak, a franchise-tying mark, with a cast of mostly young players. In fact, they are the youngest team ever in the shot-clock era to win that many games in a row.

Ja Morant leads the way for Memphis but he is far from alone. The Grizzlies have tons of players that can step up when the team needs them to. In their win over the Minnesota Timberwolves that extended the win streak, it was John Konchar, who lit up the stat sheet and came through with a huge 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter.

Morant and the Grizzlies were ecstatic at Konchar's performance, hyping him up before his postgame interview. The 25-year-old shooting guard kept his cool, though, and Morant discussed his laid-back personality after the game. Per Drew Hill of the Daily Memphian:

“He’s just a cool dude,” Morant said. “He’s smooth. He doesn’t show no emotions unless you try to hype him up or something. After the 3, I tried to get a scream or something out of him, but he just smiled. He’s always smiling.”

Konchar, who joined Memphis as an undrafted free agent three years ago, is another example of the Grizzlies' excellent scouting. Their ability to find diamonds in the rough in the draft while making the most of their high draft picks (see: Morant and the red-hot Jaren Jackson Jr.) has made them a powerhouse just a few years after trading away their stars.

Memphis is now third in the Western Conference with a 30-14 record. Morant is enjoying a breakout campaign and could start getting some legitimate MVP buzz if the Grizzlies remain near the top of the standings.
