Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant might be doubtful for the rest of the playoffs, but he certainly made his presence felt when healthy. The shifty guard averaged 27.1 points, 9.8 assists, and 8.0 rebounds in nine games thus far, but unfortunately, Ja is now battling a knee injury.

Morant's father meanwhile, Tee Morant, has been the subject of love and hate on social media, with some even comparing him to LaVar Ball because of how animated he is courtside and saying he was “annoying” for embracing Steph Curry and Klay Thompson earlier in this Warriors-Grizzlies series. Well, Tee has a strong message for all the haters.

Via Marc Spears:

“Somebody put on social media that I was annoying right after Game 1 because I embraced [Stephen] Curry, had a conversation with him and Klay Thompson as well,” Tee Morant said. “And then after that, all of a sudden, I’m annoying? I’m in the player’s space? It’s sportsmanship to me but it was like, ‘Wow.’ So, I’m annoying for supporting my child?

“And if you know me, my motto is, and pardon my French, ‘That don’t do s— to my blood pressure.’ Meaning if somebody’s thinking what I’m doing is negative or saying negative things about me or whatever, I couldn’t care less because it don’t do [s—] to my blood pressure. I’m going to keep being me because that’s all I know how to do.”

Honestly, he is just a proud father. His son is the face of the Grizzlies franchise and wouldn't be where he is without his dad. Even Drake came to Tee's defense on an Instagram post. Comparing Morant to LaVar is also foolish because that man is outspoken as ever and actually craving attention. Tee Morant is just out here enjoying Ja's success that he helped build.

Ain't nothing wrong with that. Keep doing your things, Tee.
